Parks and Environment
We have a top-notch park system and a new Climate Action Plan that will support opportunities for residents of every age and ability.
Enhancing our environment by preserving mature trees and keeping lakes clean will improve residents physical, social and emotional well-being.
I am committed to protecting our unique parks and green spaces.
Fiscal Responsibility and Affordability
As a career finance professional, I will help the City Council carefully focus on funding community priorities while keeping costs affordable.
I will respect your vote in 2024, indicating that the License Passport Center should be funded by user fees, not taxpayer dollars.
Public Safety
Assuring our police and fire departments have proper staffing and quality training is a priority.
Crime prevention programs, community action teams, and embedded social workers supporting people in crisis, are all part of the solution so that all residents feel safe.

Meet Bruce Bester
Bruce Bester is a lifelong financial leader with four decades of experience guiding one of Minnesota's major human service organizations, Opportunity Partners, where he earned The Minneapolis St Paul Business Magazine's CFO of the Year - Lifetime Achievement Award.
After six years as Chair of Roseville's Finance Commission, he brings a deep understanding of the City's budget and a steady, thoughtful approach to problem-solving.
Bruce is a man of compassion and a lifelong volunteer. This includes military service, numerous statewide leadership roles in human service organizations, and eleven years with the Courage Center Adaptive Waterski Program on Lake Owasso.

I listened to the Roseville City Council Candidate Forum. It is such a great information service for voters.
